Just relax and don't stress out about it!. It's nothing to worry about!. I really hate dental work, so getting a surgery in my mouth was no fun for me to think about!. But I just had four of my wisdom teeth removed last week and I can tell you that it is not worth freaking out about!.

They will give you a gas mask for oxygen and they also say they will give you some laughing gas!. Most of the time, the laughing gas will make you feel a bit light-headed and relaxed so you won't even notice if they put the IV in you!. For me, the laughing gas has no effect on me so I was completely conscious for the IV!. The surgeon put a rubber band around my arm so they could see the veins more clearly and it was a tiny pinch and the IV was injected!. It feels just like a small shot on your arm!. You will fall asleep in literally less than half a minute so you won't even get much of a chance to see anything!. The actual operation takes about 5-6 minutes per tooth!. And after they are finished, it will usually take you about 10 minutes to wake up!. But the whole thing really only feels like a minute!.

As long as you use general anesthesia, and take your painkillers on a tight schedule, and follow your doctor's instructions on post-operative care, you will be fine!. I haven't had any real pain with the surgery yet, and almost no swelling!. So, don't worry about it!. Trust me, once you get into that chair and they put you on the IV, you won't even get a chance to worry about it!. You will fall asleep and a minute later, you're done and out of there!. Really!.

So, good luck =) Hope all goes well for you tomorrow and hope you have a quick recovery!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well before removing a wisdom tooth, your dentist will give you a local anesthetic to numb the area where the tooth will be removed!.
But a general anesthetic may be used, especially Since all of your wisdom teeth will be removed at the same time!. A general anesthetic prevents pain in the whole body and will make you groggy or cause you to sleep through the procedure!. Your dentist will probably recommend that you don't eat or drink after midnight on the night before surgery, so you are prepared for the anesthetic!.

After the tooth is removed, you may need stitches!. Some stitches dissolve over time and some have to be removed after a few days!. Your dentist will tell you whether your stitches need to be removed!. A folded cotton gauze pad placed over the wound will help stop the bleeding!.

And After Surgery, (In most cases!) the recovery period lasts only a few days!. Take painkillers as prescribed by your dentist or oral surgeon

And Good Luck!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

the iv goes in your arm!. at first it is just hydrating fluids but there is a place in the tube where a needle can be inserted to add the drug to the fluid!. that way you can be given many drugs with only having one needle injected!. once the drug is added it is only about 10 seconds!. after your done it should be numb for a few hours and then it may feel a little sore!. it could last anywhere from 30 min to 2 hoursWww@Answer-Health@Com

depends on your dentists preferance!.!. he did my IV in my hand!.!. you fall asleep pretty much instantly!.!. i think i got to 95!.!. if you take some kind of pain thing like advil or tylenol right after and put an ice pack against your cheek it helps!.

as for how long!.!. well i was asleep the whole time so im not sure!.

but i promise you its not as bad as people think!. I got 4 taken out, one of them was impacted!.!. and i went to 6 flags the very next day!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
