1!. Yes, it does hurt!. But they should give you "spacers" so it wont hurt as much
2!. Mine made me have a lisp, lol but youll get use to it and your words become clearer
3!. You will be doing some spit slurping
4!.i had mine for like 6-10 months
5!. I had braces with mine, but no, you dont need to have braces
7!. They use these lil "plier" things it hurts a little (like pressure on your teeth, but its really fast
8!. it can take from about 30mins-1 hr depending on how fast they work
9!. No, but it will feel a little wierd since you were use to having it in for awhile, and youll be so realized its gone!
10!. it takes like 5 minutes to 10 minutes at the most to take out (if that long)
11!. I had to turn mine like twice a day,one in the morning one at night, and then it they told me to stop
12!. It took me a really long time to learn to eat with it because food always got in the upper part of it since its a small space between the expander and the top of your mouth

the hardest part for me was the soreness that lasted about a week
and then after that it was eating and talking
like when i talk alot of spit would get in my mouth and i talked all lispy lol
its was a lil embarrassing and funny
but after awhile its get better
also make sure you turn it as many times as they tell you and try not to miss a day so you dont have to wear it as long
I had to get 2 of them because the first one wasnt pushed up all the way one side
also there might be a lil bleeding
but nothing too dramatic
