Braces dont hurt when you are getting them on but like after you get them on eat a lot of food because like 3 hours after you have them on you wont be able to eat anything for about 3 to 4 days!. That is how long it hurt for me and the only things that i could eat then was mashed patotes and gravy and just ham and soup!. When you are getting your braces on it takes about and hour and a half to 2 hours because they have to clean your teeth and put this stuff on them that makes the braces stick and other stuff!. so if you went in at about 2:30 i would say 4:30 you would be out!. For the colors blue or green is pretty cool but its your choice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
U dont need to worry at all when the orthodontist is puttin on ur braces they wont hurt at all but after a while like maybe after 30 min u got them on they hurt pretty bad its hard to eat just might want to keep some motrin or tynolol with u the procedure is simple they just put some tyep of glue on ur teeth and put the little brackets on and heat the glue with this light thing so it hardens the whole process should take 1hr to 1 hr 30 min so u should be out by 3:30 to 4:00 u can choose any color u want just tell ur orthodontist im pretty sure u can choose as many as u want to so u can have like 2 or like 14 hope this helps uWww@Answer-Health@Com
They put glue on your teeth, they shine a light in your mouth when putting the brace on which i think dries the glue when they are putting the brace on!. When you first get them on it doesnt hurt for a wee while but then it gets really painful, well mine was, it is different depending on your pain threshold!. This pain lasts for about 5-7days!. When i got mine on it only took 15-20 mintues, i got pink in colour, i wasnt really bothered about how noticable they are or anything cause they help your teeth!

I've have braces! They don't hurt to be put on but later they do and you struggle to eat for a while! It's also really hard to brush your teeth at first! Takes about 10 minutes! Every time you get them tightened they hurt again and ache especially when eating and brushing! But once you've been going for about a year they stop hurting when they are tightened and are just tender to eat and brush!

No it doesn't hurt when they put them on at all!. It should take anywhere between 1-2 hours!. The only thing that might hurt is having your lips stretched out for that long!. That's the only thing that may be a tad uncomfortable!. They shouldn't hurt afterwards either, but will take some getting used to!.

That's a tough question!.!.!.when I got them, I couldn't chew for weeks and lost weight fast! My niece recently got them and she was fine after 2 hours!.!.!.

When they put the metal string that does the job, then you feel pressure!.!.!.but again, it depends on the person!.

It depends on your pain threshold really!. It never hurt me and I had quite difficult braces!. They can be a bit uncomfortable for a day or so afterwards but you just take paracetamol!. Can't say how long it will take as this depends on your Orthodontist!. I had one of the best in the UK so I never really had any problems!. What you need to consider is just how great your teeth will look afterwards!. I had mine on for two and a half years and kind of missed them when they were gone but now I have fantastic teeth!

they dont hurt so much when you get them put on they just feel funny they kinda rub against your lip !.you have to go back every month or so to get them tightened up because your teeth shift to where they are being straightened they glue small metal brackets to each tooth then run a small metal wire between thebrackets on each tooth every dentist is different it could take anhour or several its been many years since i had mine as far as color im sure now theres manyto choose from just remember dont eat hard candy real chewy stuff it will break the brackets and you will look funny walking around with half the brackets hanging off good luck hopes this helps Www@Answer-Health@Com
It really is no big deal!. They just put the glue on your teeth, lay the brackets in place, and then set the in the wire!. However, I got my braces on about 10 years ago and so I am sure the technology has improved to make the procedure faster!. It shouldn't take thaaat long-maybe you'll be out by 4:00!. Get a color that suits you best!. I always went with clear because they were the least noticeable, but a blue or green is always good!. AVOID yellow or white!. Yellow makes your teeth look baaad and white can clash with our teeth and pick up stains from things like spaghetti sauce or pizza (unless you brush regularly)!.
Don't worry about the pain!.!.!. it is sore for a while, but it is no big deal!. It is all worth it when you get them off!

they don't necessarily hurt, but they're sore!.!.!.if i recall it took about an hour, but i don't really remember because i had them about 3 years ago!.!.!.but as for color anything really except red (it looks like your teeth are bleeding), yellow (looks like corn is stuck) and clear (they're not clear they make your teeth look like there's plaque sticking out from them!.!.!.yuck)Www@Answer-Health@Com

they have to put some paste then they put braces on and they have to dry it with this blue light!. plus they have to put ringson all four back molars or wisdom teeth if you have them!. probaly 2:40-3;00

depends how many brackets you are getting on your teeth, If your getting a full mouth it can take an hour!. They glue metal brackets to your teeth, then they fit in the wire!. First they put these metal things around your back teeth to hold the wire!.
Your teeth will be sore for the first couple days and you might talk weird!
Dont pick red or yellow because it looks like mustard or Ketchup on your teeth ( trust me i know :D )

Some people say they do, some say they don't!. It didn't hurt for me to get them on as much as it hurt for them to come off!. I wouldn't worry to much!. It's about a 30-45 minutes procedure and you should be out by 3:00-3:15!. Do whatever colour compliments you or that you like!. Be creative!. =)Www@Answer-Health@Com
I had braces and from my experience it didn't hurt when they put them on!. It hurt after wards only because my teeth were sore!. As far as how much time it should be about an hour it just depends!. It hurts afterward!. For like 2 weeks depending on how tight they put them on!. Get Purple or silver, something not too noticable, and not something that will make your teeth yellow!. You should be out of the dentist at 4!. Good luck!

The removable ones are just moulded to shape, and the 'fitted' ones are glued to your teeth, it doesn't hurt as far as I know, My sister has had several before!.
