I wouldn't go as far as to say it "hurts like hell!." It's not pleasant, but it's tolerable!.!.!. If it's on your upper front, it's going to feel like a pinch and then your nose is going to burn as if you got a bad case of nostril wash!.!.!.!. My dentist always tipped me upside down to do that, and it always made my nose burn!.!.!. If it's on the bottom, you'll just feel a pinch and then it will go numb!.!.!. Nothing to worry about at all!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think it's going to be painful!.!.!. I actually had a dental implant placed right in front, and am freaked out by needles, but was fine!. My dentist put some of that numbing gel, which is ultra-strength, on the gum, and I didn't feel it when he finally gave me the anesthetic shot!. I'd say as long as they use the pre-numbing gel, it should be easy-peasy, lemon squeasy!.!.!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

it doesn't really hurt at all unless he finds the nerve which is good because then you won't feel anything in your tooth!. I had a shot done in the back right of my mouth and the entire right side of my face was numb for hours afterwards!. (including my ear and half my tounge!. akward trying to drink!)
lol
good luck, fillings aren't bad!. I just got three down because I'm getting braces next week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think it hurts much more than a shot elsewhere in your gums!. Why don't you ask your dentist to apply a topical anesthetic to your gums prior to giving you the shot!? It may lessen the pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i don't think you have much to worry about!. dentists have ways of making these kinds of things quick!. it'll only last for about 10 seconds, so even if it does sting a bit, it'll be over before you know it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

lol my dads a dentist it wont hurt theres something called NOVACANE and it wont hurt getting the cavatie but it will be like slightly painful geting the sot maybe like sticking a sharp thing in ur mouth no biggie i promiseWww@Answer-Health@Com

Anywhere inside your teeth hurts more than outside!. Outside stings, whereas inside curls your toes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
