Question: How long do i have to wait to brush my teeth!?
i just got some fillings done and i am wondering if i need to wait a while before i brush and floss my teeth!.

If it is a silver filling (amalgam) then you may need to wait a couple of hours to floss or chew something hard especially if it was a large filling!. If the filling is tooth colored (composite) then you don don have to wait!. It is a resin material and it sets as soon as they shine the bight blue light in it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i pulled out a tooth a i waited 3 days to brush my teeth!. the dentist didnt tell me i should wait but i sensed it!. i think the best thing you shoud do is wait a couple days or call your dentist and ask her/him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
you don't have to wait long at all! when i had my filling done i had to wait only 1 hour without drinking, or eating!. after that, i could eat, drink, brush and floss!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Your dentist should have told you!. Call his office and ask!. It's eating more than brushing and flossing that you have to be careful of!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
