I can only think of one thing that can stop the bleeding and that is to pack the hole where the tooth was with corn starch!. Sounds silly, but it really does clot blood!. It is what is used when you have clipped a dogs nails too far back!. Try it, if it doesn't work, call the dentist and ask him why it is still bleeding!. If you are diabetic, that would be the answer because diabetics sometimes have a hard time with healing!. Try the cornstarch and put a tea bag over it if the bags helped with the clotting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Like the previous person said, if it is oozing a little, that's not a big deal!. The tea bags are good, but if you do try and put anything else in there, leave it in for at least half an hour!. Sometimes people try to change the gauze or whatever as soon as it looks "full" of blood, but the pressure is what will make it stop bleeding!.

You may wake up w/ blood on your pillowcase and or bedsheets tonight (if it is still oozing), so you might want to put a towel on your pillow or don't use extremely good bedding supplies tonight!.

By the morning it should be fine!. But after you eat or whatever tonight or tomorrow, it may start to ooze again!. That is normal!.

Just take it easy, don't do anything too physical the next few days, don't smoke, drink through a straw, spit out, and try not to play with the extraction sites!.

It is ok to brush the teeth around there, but I'd stay away from the immediate area for at least a few days!.

You'll be fine!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is normal to bleed for 24 hours after the surgery so just keep using the gauze and don't change it too often!. About every 45 minutes is good so the blood clot can form!. The more you change it and put things in and out of your mouth, the harder it will take for the blood to stop and clot!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Is it bleeding the same amount as when you left the office!? or do you merely have what dentists colorfully call "oozing"!? Oozing is when you have a bit of blood mixing in with your saliva and you are spitting out a little every once in a while!. (And you can taste that nasty copper taste!. Yuck!) If it's still bleeding quite a bit, call your dentist!. You may have a clotting problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had mine taken out two days ago!.

I threw the gauze out in two hours!.

Did nothing more except Tylenol!.

It's fine today!. No blood!.

Be careful with that swishing with salt water!.

You could cause the clot to fall out!.

This can cause a dry socket!.

It's excrutiating!

Google it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

stop messing with it and just let it heal on its own!. if you keep trying to do stuff your probably just going to pop off the blood clot that is trying to formWww@Answer-Health@Com

if you have any more gauze, just put it in there, stop messing with it, and lay down, it will stop bleeding soon enoughWww@Answer-Health@Com
