Answers:
Definitely do not wait around for them to grow in!. Consult your doctor who can refer you to an oral surgeon!. I kept putting it off thinking it didn't really need to be done and the pain was ridiculously intense!. I just got mine out today and, no lie, I feel FAR less pain right now than when those suckers were acting up!.

For pain relief, use Motrin or Advil (I find they have worked the best) and Anbesol (a numbing gel to put on your tooth and gums)!. I found that oragel really did nothing for me but the Anbesol worked miracles!.

Here are some other suggestions I got when I asked about growing wisdom tooth pain:
-Go buy those teething tablet that you use for baby's when they are teething and let like 4 dissolve under you tounge they really work I promise I used them for my wisdom teeth!. You will have to take more every 2 or so hours but it works!. (I couldn't find the tablets so I don't know how this one works)
-Rinsing with Listerine four about 10 minutes!.
-Biting on the actual cloves (found in the spice ailse of a grocery store) or rubbing clove oil on the area
-Taking 1 advil, 1 aleve, and two tablespoons of plain nyquil, if anything it should make you drowsy enough to get sleep!. It usually takes about 1/2 hour - 45 minutes to kick in though!. (Don't do this more than every 4-6 hours though) (I was a little weary of taking this much medication so I didn't try this one either)

Best of luck to you!!

The smartest thing to do is save your wisdom teeth, keep them!. Get your dentist to remove your rear upper and lower molars to make room for your wisdom teeth as soon as you can!. This way you will have four new healthy teeth come in and the extractions will have been much easier on you!. It will also probably cost much less and be less painful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it takes a long time!. i just got mine out yesterday!. they can really screw up your teeth if you don't get them removed!. ask your dentist for a referral to an orthodontic surgeon!. wisdom teeth are weaker than normal molars and are more susceptible to cavities, decay, and breaking!. you are better off getting rid of them before they become a nuisance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have all of my wisdom teeth and it took about a year and 1/2 to fully grow in!. for the pain i cant remember the medicine but i just remember it looked like a q-tip with medicine inside!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

before you wait for them to grow in, go to the dentist and ask for a referral so you know if they are going to be a problem with your other teeth later on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
