What does it mean when your gums bleed when you brush?!


Question: What does it mean when your gums bleed when you brush!?
!? I just went to the dentist today!. And they said everything was healthy!. So I used there new toothbrush and my gums were bleeding!. They never bleed!. What happened!? I just went to the dentist today, I don't' get how I could get gingivitis in a couple of hours!.!.!. help! thanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

That happens to me sometimes when I floss!. It just means your gums weren't used to the new toothbrush or maybe it was a little rougher than your old toothbrush!. It just takes your gums a day or two to get used to your new toothbrush/floss!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your teeth and everything is healthy, maybe you were brushing too hard!? but bleeding gums can be sign of gingivitis or something

usually it means you have gingivitis from lack of brushing and flossing!. The only other thing (if you are a female) is during that time of the month your gums can get very sensitive and bleed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
