i have had braces for a year and a half!. and yes they do but its not really pain is more of pressure!.
when you first get them on you have to get used to them, they make you mouth heavy at first and when you get them tightened every moth but usually that only hurts for a day or two!.
they are honestly not as bad as people say they are!. ans oon you will have a really awesome smile!. soo i'm not complaining!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh they hurt like hell at first, prepare to eat food that is in smoothie form for about 3 days!. (When you first get them on you will feel nothing, except your teeth feel larger!. Don't let this fool you, it will begin to hurt, a lot!.)
After that the only real pain you will feel is after you monthly checkups and you get them adjusted!. More annoying than anything!.

Well, it only hurts the first few days, but you can take a pain killer for that!. It hurts if the wires get loose, but you should take care of your braces!.
If a bracket breaks, it won't really hurt (not for me) but can be annoying!

i've never had spacers!.!.i have braces!.!.it's been a year!. i don't think that they hurt at all!. i mean when you first get them, it's going to only hurt to eat!. like if you eat it'll hurt!. well this is only for me!. and when you get them tightened it doesn't hurt!.!.it only feels tight and that doesn't hurt to me!. idk i guess it all depends on who you are and stuff!.!.it might hurt!. i know this probably didn't help hahah!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
YES!. But only for the first few days; depending on how much they're tightened, they could be painful for about a week!. But right after you get them tightened, go to a fast food place and get the biggest thing!. That way, it only hurts for a couple days since you're breaking them in pretty fast!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
ya but they only hurt for the first couple of days unless your teeth are really bad and they don't hurt when your putting them on just a few hours after you have had them on

um!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. I haven't got them myself but my friend has them and they don't hurt her!. But I guess every one is different!.
P!.s i had 2 teeth pulled out when i was 5 and i had spacers put in and they didn't hurt one little bit!.

they hurt like HELL when you first get them on , and when you get stronger wirers on but the rest of the time they dont!.!.

Go by the 3-day rule , everything will hurt for 3 days , and then you won't know that they are there!. I have had mine for 1!.5 years, i'm done to 2-day rule nowWww@Answer-Health@Com
Spacers sucked major butt, but I only had them for a couple weeks or so!. Braces were okay except when wires start poking you or they tighten them!. But the end result is amazing; trust me i kno : )Www@Answer-Health@Com
