Questions about crowns?!
Question: Questions about crowns!?
I'm getting two crowns on my two front teeth (8,9)!. They weren't that bad looking to begin with, but I had root canals done on them and then needed to put crowns on them!. I had a really nice smile, but when they put the temporary crown, my smile isn't really nice anymore!. The two front teeth are sorta yellow (like a really really light shade, you can only see it up close), one tooth is longer than the other, and one tooth is kind of cricked!. My smile looks really bad and I try not to smile anymore, but it's really hard cause I'm always smiling!. Also what kind of food can I eat while I have the temporary crown and will the permanent crowns feel and look like my real teeth!. I hate putting my tongue on the back of my temporary crown and feeling that cement like thing!. I want my nice smile back :(

you'll be in the temps for about 2 weeks!. Don't bite directly into any foods with your temps; they are only there for show and they'll break or fall off if you aren't careful!. The real crowns should match the rest of your teeth perfectly!. Ask to see them on before the dentist cements them!. If you don't like them or if they don't match, ask the dentist to send them back to the lab for a correction!. Front teeth are hard to match, but they can be amazingly real looking!. The real ones will feel smoother, and maybe a little thicker!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
