Palatal expander and acting/singing!

Im getting a palatal expander on wednesday, and unfortunately for me, my first day of high school is next monday!. I am going be in the drama club at my school, but I don't know if the expander will still be affecting my speech by then!. Also, the fall play is going to be a musical, and I really don't want to sound silly with the expander in my mouth while Im singing!. How will the expander affect this, and is there any way to reduce the speech issue while I sing and act!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
