Question: Has my dentist committed malpractice!?
Had 2 teeth crowned - dentist filed them too thin for the crown and they snapped off a month later!. Cemented them back in!. Once came out a week later!. Put a pin in - pin was too short, came out 2 months later!. Now says crown won't go back in and I'll have to pay for both crowns to come out and have a bridge made of 2 teeth and pay for it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

definitly report it action might no be taken immediately but with enough complaints action could be take!.
i was supposed to get braces but didn't want to cause i liked the way my teeth are , so i didn't wear my head gear at all!. without my parents knowing they kept taking me to my appointments and the orthodontist kept telling my parents that there was improvements and i was almost ready , tahts went on for about six months until finally my parents gave up!. i wish i could of told them but they would of been p*ssed off!.
It 's just a way for them to get more money out of you by doing half *** work and finding ways to get you sooner pretty much find a new dentistWww@Answer-Health@Com

the general dental council is the organisation in the UK that will determine whether a dentist is fit to practice - this is the route you need to take!. The GDC is an independent regulatory body!. If you tell your dentist that you are planning to consult the GDC over the work done you will probably put the fear of god in the them - all health professionals are terrified of their regulators - I know I used to work for a regulatory body!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
I can't beleive after all that he wants you to pay for his mistakes!! i would call a lawyer, see what they say!. Maybe check into the BBB also, and see if this is a reoccuring problem or just with you (not that it matters, but it might be a nice thing to bring up if it does go to court) Good luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
You may have a case!. I have included some very good articles for you to explore at your leisure!. They don't really say what is grounds for a lawsuit as that would be a wide range of things, they do say what to do if you believe you have a case and how to proceed!.

I wouldn't be very happy if this happened to me!. Get an opinion from another dentist without mentioning names and see what they think!. I imagine as well that there is some sort of dentist monitoring crowd (I cant think of a better explanation) that you can contact!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This isnt right - i feel because dentists are in such short supply we pussy-foot round about them and let them away with things that we know are their fault - find a new dentist and then report the old one and take the matter further - hope this helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com
