Is it possible to push plaque farther into the gums?!
Question: Is it possible to push plaque farther into the gums!?
When I floss, the little plaque residue stuff gets on the floss I'm using, then I wipe it off with a tissue cuz I think that it will just push back into my gums!. Should I just go in and out and not worry about the residue, or continue my way!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

With every tooth you are supposed to use a piece of clean floss that is right next to the floss you just got all the bacteria on when you flossed the neighbouring tooth!.
Personally I would not worry about it that much!. You break the plaque off with your floss and then you brush afterwards to flush it all away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I must add that if your teeth are crooked (like mine), plaque can get trapped in the gums because they don't form themselves around the teeth evenly!. That's my problem: I wake up with pockets of plaque on the fronts of my bottom teeth no matter how much I brush and floss!. I have to squeeze it out!. Sorry to be gross!. Flossing loosens the plaque on your teeth and it's not going to restick itself so firmly that you can't rinse it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
