I presume that this will be in hospital for the operation!. Take a book to read while waiting!. (You may have to wait several hours!.!.!.) You will get changed into a gown, then get on a trolley and be wheeled into the operating room, where you are given the anaesthetic!. (Possibly from a syringe!.) You will probably think something like 'oh the anaesthetic isn't working' - with the next thing you will notice is that you are coming round after the operation and feeling very 'giddy'!. and will be wheeled back to your bed to recover for an hour or so!. After you can walk again you can go home!. For that day and the following day you will be able to eat soup and anything soft!. Expect to feel hamster like for a few days!.

You will probably be given some antibiotics to take for a week, in the form of a pill that you have to take 2 or 3 times a day!.

You won't remember any of the operation itself, just the before and after!. For the after bit you will feel 'drunk' / 'like you are recovering from being ill' for the rest of the day!. Don't worry about it, just take it easy for the 24-48 hours following the operation!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

oh i got the same thing they probably would give local anesthesia so i got like 4 shots which was okay i guess then they just started working which i felt only pressure after the operation it hurted a little but u can only eat like soft foods and yes your doctor probably will give you two i think one for fighting infection and the other one for killing the pain i think oh and be careful with the infection pill its pennicillin in it so i got an alergic reaction after taking that so yea just warning youWww@Answer-Health@Com

Don't be too worried about it, i had this done a few years ago before my braces were fitted!.
Had injections to numb my gums then wen i went in i had gas & air, which kinda makes you drowsy, you still know whats going on but its all a bit kinda fuzzy and you don't really notice whats going on! It's great! lol
Apparently your meant to be calm and not worked up when you go in, i went in in floods of tears and they asked if i was ok and they believed me! lol Didn't half cheer me up that gas & air!
By the way, i was crying cause of something that had just happened with my friends, nothing to do with the dentist lol!.

Oddly, was the most fun i've ever had at the dentist haha!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
