Is it necessary to be put under general anesthesia...?!


Question: Is it necessary to be put under general anesthesia!.!.!.!?
to extract an impacted wisdom tooth that hasn't cut through the gum yet!? I really don't want to be put all the way under and my husband's boss was telling me it's difficult to find a doctor around here that will do it by just locally numbing it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

nope!.it is not necessary!.here in our country,dentist do it by local anesthesia only and i saw many cases like that,its just a matter of hitting enough the nerve,they will do a mandibular block and maybe a slight local anesthesia and things will go rightWww@Answer-Health@Com

Hi if its the bottom wisdom tooth you have to be put under and if they have to cut your gum and you will have to be put under i had my top 2 out awake but they were through and easy to get to but i would have sooner be a sleep didn't like the noise it was making !. good luck Www@Answer-Health@Com

it will be very painful and it could be dangerous since it is such a hefty procedure, not using general anesthesia!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
