How long should i take off of school?!
Question: How long should i take off of school!?
I am having 8 teeth pulled all at the same time!. 4 of those teeth will be wisdom teeth!. I am only 16!. Thank God i go to an alternative school to where i will not miss much work at all!. All of my classes are online classes so i don't have to worry about being behind in those classes!. But if you were in my position how many days would you take off from school or work!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

for your wisdom teeth it can take up to 3 days to a week for the pain to really subside, or for your body to finally get used to the pain!. Regular teeth it may not be as intense as your wisdom!.
You SHOULD be prescribed some kind of pain killers such as Vicodin and it will make you sleepy!. I'd estimate about a week at the most!. Just enough for your to get used to the meds and for the pain to go away!.
sleeping also helps!. this is a great excuse for you to catch some z's!. sleeping helps for the pain since you can't feel it!. So you're pretty much knocked out during the more!.!. hurtful periods when the teeth are taken out!. use the sleepy medication to your advantage!.
since you work as well, the pain may not completely go away in about a week!. it'll still feel raw!. ask your doctor if you can have pain medication for day, so you can stay awake when you absolutly have to (work/school)!.
remember to ice ice ice ice ice!. it helps with the swelling and it also helps with numbing up the face where the teeth were removed!.
