Any info about braces?!
Question: Any info about braces!?
I'm getting braces in a month and i'm freaking out!. My friends tell me it really hurt getting them on but other people tell me it doesn't!? Oh and what would be a good color for my braces!? How long does it take to put them on and how often do you have to get tightened!? Any extra info would be ah-mazing :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on the orthodontist when it comes to the time in putting them on, and if you need both top and bottom!. Ask your doctor how often you have to get them tightened, and it doesn't really hurt when you get them on or tightened!. When I had my braces they felt really tight for a day, then were sore for like four days!. Just eat soft foods!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
okay i got mine on about 6 months ago!. sometimes it hurts, in the beginning when they put the spacers on, and when they tighten them but the longest those will both hurt for is about 2 weeks and you can basically eat soft foods when they do hurt!. but don't worry the pain always fades!. any colors good, you get them changed every time you get them tightened, which for me is about every 6 weeks!. you're orthodontist Will tell you when and how long it will take to get them on if you ask, they're good at it :]!. hope i helped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
the tighten them every month it takes like 10 mins to put them on it doesnt hurt when they put them on all it is is glue on ur teeth ur friends are trying to scare u like they did to me and i freaked out over NOTHING when i have been threw it all with 6 teeth pulled all at once
when they tighten it it doesnt hurt it just feels tight and ur teeth sortof get loose it might hurt but not more then a light pinch!. try this push one of ur 2 front teeth staright back into ur mouth the pressure u feel on ut tooth is sort of wat it feels like when they tighten but a little bbit more softer than that there is no room to squeeze in fear i get mnine off in march!!!!!!!!!great colors are lime green and pink
NEVER GET WHITE if u eat and meat soda or sauce it will be stained and will change it that color(probably brown or orange) haha
u should only have them on 2-3 years max i had horrible teeth and i will have them as a total of 2!.5 years

The process itself doesn't hurt!. But a few hours later, it will be really sore, to the point you don't wanna bite!. Wait like 3-8 days to eat really hard food!. Just live off of soup and ice cream then!. Prepare for the wax that the orthodontist gives you!.
And blue or purple are good colors!. Stay away from red or pink that make your teeth look like theyre bleeding!.

well i just got my braces almost a month ago and it didnt hurt A BIT when they were putting it on but it did start to hurt after that like especially when i eat so yeah dont worry itll only hurt for a few days when ur eating and brushing and stuff and u can take painkillers!.

my orthro never had to ever tighten mine!. but it didn't hurt at all for me; the only time i had a problem was when i got the spacers!.
