Question: I have an expander and braces!?!!?
I've Had my expander for about 30 days(30 days of turning) and get it off in December!. A little more than a week ago i got braces!. I realized this gap in my teeth before the braces which i knew would probably come!. Now i am wondering since i am done turning my expander, will my gap close, basically how long it will take to close!. None of my teeth are crooked, i just have an over bite so my teeth were only sore for 2-3 days!. If you had this or know how long it will take my gap to close that would be great! Because i really want it to close before school starts or get a lot smaller!.

My braces have been in since February and my teeth are looking fantastic! If you start school in September your teeth should be looking better but the gap wont have fully gone, my gap has totally gone in these last couple of weeks and my teeth have gone back!
Your teeth will start going back before the gap closes but it's nothing to be worried about - your teeth will look fabulous in no time! Hope i helped!!.!.x

well the brace's are what are going to close the gap!. That would depend on how often they are tightened!. think mine were three times a week!. But I quit on the expander as it caused sever painWww@Answer-Health@Com
No, it wont close until they put like "train track" braces on which makes your teeth come closer together!. Dont worry they'll probably put them on very soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
