Question: Has anyone had there wisdom teeth out!?
hi i am going to the dentist tomoro and im so scared to have my wisdom teeth out, has anyone been through this on a scale of 1 to ten how bads the pain and the rough recorevy time, also im a smoker and have smoked for years am i able to smoke, i know its not advised but has anyone done it,, thanxxWww@Answer-Health@Com

i have had mine out and I too am a smoker!. I thought i could have a smoke but as your face is so numb it is hard and you slobber all over the butt!. It also makes you very dizzy as the nicotine is going straight into your bloodstream through the open wound!.
If you must smoke after make sure you are sitting down, but best to give it a miss for as long as you can!.

Are you being put under or will you be awake!?
I was awake for mine!. It was 4 hours to remove 3, one impacted!. The worst part was the dentist's description of the procedure!. He decided to inform me that he 'filleted' my gums in order to remove the tooth!. He had to rest his knee on my chest to remove the impacted tooth!. I didn't feel anything except for that knee on my chest!. Afterwards, I was ok!. I survived on ibuprofen!. I tried to eat some potato soup later in the day and that hurt more than the whole thing!
You'll be ok but don't smoke!. The dentist should inform you of that!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

hun don't be scared, it's not that bad!. they give you an IV and then give you local anesthetic!. they do the job and then you wake up a little groggy!. you get pain meds and have to change your gauze pads for the first couple of days!. no eating solid foods for about a week or so!. the recovery time is usually about a week but it depends on the person!. I've been through it & it,s very painful!. but the dentist will give u something for the pain!. I,m a smoker also & you can,t smoke afterward because the blood won't clot & you'll end going back to the dentist for him to repack it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I have!! I was sore for days I'll be honest, but it didn't gurt that much when they pulled out the wisdom teeth don't worry!. IT WON'T HURT!.
