Question: What is the average time line children lose their teeth!?
My son has lost his bottom incisors (age 6 almost 7) and his adult teeth are coming in just fine!. I am noticing though it is shifting his outer two incisors though and they do not seem to be getting loose yet!. I am sure all will be fine but what is the average time line children lose teeth and which order do they lose them in!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
incisors at 6-7and first permanent molars;first premolars and maybe canines next at10-11;second premolars 11- 14 A bit approximate as everyones different!.they may look crooked as its all happening, but cant usually be assessed for alignment till theyer all through!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If the problem persists, go to a dentist!. He might have baby teeth with roots that don't desolve!. All of my teeth were like that, so I evantually had two row of teeth on both the bottom and the top of my mouth!. It could cause crowding and need to be fixed by braces later!. Its always better to be safe then sorry!.

By the age of 14, my teeth got so painful I wanted to kill
myself!. My mom thought I was just being''sensitive"!. Its always better to check these thing out early!.

He is a tad behind!. Not all kids follow a fixed timeline!. I wouldn't worry about it now!. But if there is a problem, I stick to my previous response!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think the front teeth are normally lost first!. Children lose their teeth anywhere from 5 years old to possibly even 13 years old!. I had to get my last baby tooth pulled when I was 14 years old!. Typically I think they stop losing teeth at 11 or 12!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
