Question: Overbite! help please!? (pic inside)!?
okay so i had braces on for about 3 years know
i know its a long time
but i have this overbit so thats why i had it for a long time
but i wanted to know how long it would take to get them off
by the pictures of my overbite below!?
right now i have to wear rubberbands for my overbite

Hi! I'm 14 and I'm getting braces in 2 weeks! I have BAD over bite! My top teeth like a centimeter over my bottom!. I have a medium sized space in the front two and over jet next to those!. I have to were mine for 2 years! I read online once you get the bands that you have about 6 months to a year left!. So your almost done! Good luck! I hope I helped you!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Three years isn't as long as my daughter had to wear her braces!. She had to wear them for 8 years!. The orthodontist did everything he knew what to do to fix her underbite!. Nothing worked!.
She had jaw surgery!. Her upper jaw was too narrow, the back teeth would not touch and her lower teeth were over her top teeth!. Her upper jaw was removed, widened, lowered in back and moved forward 4mm!. Now she has a perfect smile!.
Hopefully this isn't your situation but hang in there!. Your orthodontist seems like they are doing a good job!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
