Question: My very back tooth hurts and there is a little brown spot on it!.!?
my very back tooth hurts on the left side of my mouth!. and there is a little i guess indent in it(small as the end of a tooth pick) with a brown spot in it
its not sensitive to hot and cold!. it just really hurts!. the gums around it hurt the most!. i thought something was stuck to i took a tooth pick and went around my tooth with it and it hurt when it went between the gum and the tooth!. any reason this might be!? and what can i do to make it stop!. i have a dentist appt come up later next month but id really like to know what it is now!. I would call and move up that dentist appointment to ASAP!. Sounds like you have a cavity that will only get worse!. You may also have something stuck between your tooth and gum which may be causing the inflamation!. This could become infected soon if you don't have the dentist look at it!. call your dentist again for an earlier appointment - have them call you if there are cancellations!. you likely have gum disease starting and likely a cavity!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
