ok so im 15 and im getting my braces pretty soon!. what should i expect!? what are they gonna do!? and how long will i have to wear them exactly!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

How long will you wear them!? Depends on how bad your teeth are and they will hurt in the beginning!. They will glue little squares on your teeth and put a wire against it!. The pain will be there every time you get your braces tightened!.

I'm 16 and i'm getting mine off soon :) at first it's going to hurt and the brackets are going to cut you but if put the wax on it won't hurt as much!. depending on the type of braces, it'll hurt for 2 days(!?) after you get it tightened which is almost every six weeks!. sometimes they change the wire so that it is thicker making it tighter, that'll hurt more!. if you have an overbite, expect to wear rubber bands!. the length of wearing one depends on 2 factors:
1) how serious your situation is; and
2) how serious you are to follow your dentist's orders!.
it would hurt a bit for a couple of days and every after adjustments, but no biggie!. some food you will avoid and you need extra time brushing your teeth to make sure there are no leftovers clinging to your braces =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

your orthodontist should tell you how long you have to wear it,&& getting braces won't hurt at all while they're on the process putting the brackets etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
