Answers:
it takes about 45 mins!. first they take off the metal, they use plyers and pop them off!. then your teeth will feel kinda swollen, because the cement is still on them!. then theyll go back in with a drill and take off all the cement!. your teeth will feel all slime and slick!. you wont get your retainer for about a week!. but when i got mine off, i got a permeate retainer put on the bottom!. it is cemented in but i rarley notice it anymore!. for a while you will fell little pieces of cement that the dentist didnt get off, just pop them off with your finger nail!. remember to wear your retainer every night! i havent worn mine for 3 months and now it dosent fit!. (dont worry, nothing will hurt!)

go get some carmel corn after or something else you missed eating while having bracesWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well, I've never got my braces off, but I have gotten brackets off and repositioned!. The process is: They take off the colored bands and wire, and they just pop the brackets off with a tool, and you'll only feel slight pressure!. then, they have to use a different tool to scrape the glue!. I've only gotten that far! but, I do know that my ortho sends you home with your retainer the very appointment that you get your braces off, so it really depends on your ortho on when you will get your retainer!. It takes like 5 minutes to get them off, they just take a little tool and remove all the rubber bands, then they pull the brackets off!. It doesn't hurt at all but you will feel pressure on your teeth!. I got my retainer like 3 days after!. Its going to be the happiest day of your life :]Www@Answer-Health@Com
