Question: Tooth Hurts After A Filling!.!?
well last week I got a filling!. I had 2 fillings this year!. first time it was ok!. but second time which was last week hurt! my dentist said that it was a tough filling but he managed to fill it!. Now it hurts alot, the tooth!. when I drink cold stuff it hurts and sometimes hot stuff!. it hurts at night too before I go to sleep!. I'm going to my dentist in a couple of days so please don't tell me I should go there I am, I have an appointment already!. but I wanna know why does it hurt!? did he do a mistake or something!? :( Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it is the new composite fillings, then this is totally normal!. Some pain can last up to 3 months!. These fillings are great, because they blend in so well with the tooth, but they can be a pain because, well, they can cause pain! If it was a deep cavity, then that is another reason it could be causing you pain!. I wouldn't worry about it!. If it hurts that bad, I would drink through a straw, and take an Advil or Tylenol!. no it is not dentist mistake it your teeth that is know fully finished by cavity now there is only 1 way is to take it off after that you feel relax & there will be no more pain

I know what you mean, i got a couple a few days ago and they are super duper sensitive!. i think its just like that until you get used to it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
