Help! i'm getting expanders today??!
Question: Help! i'm getting expanders today!?!?
in a few hours, i'll be having expanders put in for 5 months!. how much should i expect them to hurt over this time!? also, the orthodontist mentioned that i would have a lisp for a little while, and i'm starting school on monday!. will the lisp be gone in 3-4 days!?

I used to have them!. The lisp goes away after 2-3 days!.

I had an expander on the top, and I couldn't talk right at all!. Nobody could understand what I was saying, and I could never actually talk normally!. I could talk kind of normal 2 months later!. If you read a magazine or talk out loud it's a lot easier to get used to talking!. Then again the expander I had turned so there might be a difference!. I didn't hurt much at all, it was just annoying!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
