Question: What is the best OTC product for canker sores/mouth cuts and sores associated with braces!?
Is there a good one that lasts for a long time (a couple hours)!?

Unfortunately, due to the production of saliva in your mouth, most of topical applications gets washed away, however, anbesol or orajel is your best bet for temporary relief!. A good rinse with warm salt water after every meal will help as well!.
If you are having major issues with this, I would notify your orthodontist!. Perhaps he/she can make some adjustments to your braces so they aren't causing you so much pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
