Question: How much will retainers hurt when you first get them compared to braces!? : )!?
I know they will hurt at first and be uncomfortable until your body gets used to it!. But how much will it hurt compared at first when compared to braces!?
I'm getting the visible retainers with the wire and metal in front!. It's called Hawley retainers :)!.

Well the retainers aren't THAT bad!. Of course they feel soar at first!. U may have a lisp so practice saying stuff with a "ssss" I had the retainers with the metal wire in the front that cover the middle of the teeth!. The good thing about retainers is u can take them out but i wouldn't!. that wouldn't help ur teeth! Sometimes u have to go to the orthodontist and get them tightened which won't be delightful!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Your retainers shouldn't be painful!. They're made to fit your teeth exactly as they are and hold them in place!.!.!.if anything is sharp or sticking, your orthodontist or his dental lab should be able to adjust it!. At worst, they'll feel a bit awkward for a while and wearing them may make you salivate more at first, since your body associates objects in the mouth as food!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
Naw won't hurt too much!. Braces are moving your teeth!. Retainers are just keeping them in the same place!. After a while you don't even remember it's there!. I had the same kind!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
