If you get a filling, it is supposed to last a loooooong time! Unless you have one fall out, or a cavity gets bigger, your dentist should have to drill and fill again!. Your teeth will not repair themselves after a filling, so no--cavities don't disappear on their own!. That is why fillings were created in the first place, to stop a cavity from spreading!. No!. The dentist drill a hole in your teeth then fill it with the filling!. They stay there forever!.
