Question: My braces are killing me!!?
So i got my top and bottom front row braces on yesterday because the rest of my teeth hasn't healed from surgery!. How long will this pain last!? An what can i do to help ease the pain!? Because i took 2 tylenol yesterday but that didn't seem to help!. And i woke up and can't go back to sleep because i am in pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The day after you get your braces on are the worst!. It will slowly (and I mean slowly) decrease, then in about a week everything should feel okay- and you can eat again!

If they tylenol isn't kicking in you can only wait :/
For me, the pain lasted about three to four days everytime I got the tightened which was once a month!.
The next ones should hurt less cause you get kind of used to it!.

Ask your orthodontist for something stronger, maybe tylenol #3 with codeine!. Some pain is expected, but it shouldn't interfere with your sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
usually, the pain from getting my braces on/tightened lasted 2-3 days after the appointment!. try taking advil or motrin!. they are also painkillers like tylenol!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
