Question: Do many people still get silver(amalgam) fillings!.!.!?
I recently needed a small filling on a molar and my dentist suggested a white filling!.!.!.but I think they're overpriced!. Amalgam may not be the least conspicuous but they're cheap and reliable, so that's what I opted for!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've got an NHS dentist and the NHS rules are that any fillings in back teeth should be silver amalgam - they will only let you have white fillings on the NHS if they are in front teeth!. If you want white fillings you have to pay private prices which most people can't afford!. And personally I think
