I worked in a Dentist office for 3 years and have had my wisdom teeth pulled 2 at one time and 1 while at work at the office took 15-20 minutes to pull and hardly bled and needed no pain pills!.!.Well enough about ME!! LOL!. I will as well as your Dentist/Nurse ADVISE you DO NOT DRIVE the rest of the day, and DO NOT DRIVE while taking Narcotic Pain medication or any that can cause drowsiness!. Why don't you ask the person you so desparately need to see to drive you to and from your appointment!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

No definitely not!. For one you will probably be unconscious for a few hours after you are supposed to be "out of surgery"!. After that, you will still be very drowsy and unable to concentrate on anything like driving for quite awhile!.

Also you will definitely be on some kind of pain killer for days after surgery like Vicodin, which will make it impossible for you to drive for the days you are on medication!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

NO No NO you cannot drive and believe me you won't want to!. Maybe the next day if it's not too painful, BUT if they give you pain pills forget it you cannot drive!. If you don't care about your safety then care about others on the road!. I had all 4 pulled and I was on the couch for days in pain!.I was taking pain pills for those days and slept!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You'll be pretty groggy for maybe half the day if you get your teeth pulled in the morning!. Ideally it would be nice if someone can take you to and from surgery!. Or maybe reschedule your meet-up some other time!. You wouldn't really be able to talk afterwards anyway!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You will be on heavy painkillers!. No driving!. I would say wait until the next day!. I was the whole day when I got my wisdom teeth pulled!. I just slept from 11am until about 9pm!. Then fell asleep again at midnight and woke up until 9am the next day!. Thats just 1 pill there! Have that person go see you if it's that important!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are going under a general you cannot legally drive for 24 hours
so I would arrange for a ride because you would be considered too impaired to drive a couple of hours after your surgery!. I doubt very much you will be feeling up to seeing anyone anyway!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!.

It is quite a painful process and you'll most likely get a prescription for some strong pain killers!. Don't expect to do much for quite a few days after!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

DRIVING AFTER UNCONSCIOUS SEDATION REQUIRES SEVERAL HOURS AND DRIVING THEN IS NOT YOUR FIRST PRIORITY!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i wouldn't drive for at least 2 days to be on the safe side, you know!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
