How do you fix negative over jet!? If you get a jaw correction, would they fix it for you!? What is the camouflage treatment!? Sorry! I need more answers ! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Negative overjet refers to the lower front teeth extending past the upper front teeth in a horizontal direction!. Jaw surgery in these types of cases usually means a mandibular jaw set back where they surgically (very carefully) break the lower jaw and fixate it in a better relationship with the upper jaw!. If you also have an open bite, they may consider performing surgery on the upper jaw as well!.

Camouflage treatment is essentially where the orthodontist tips the teeth forward on the upper and towards your tongue on the lower to create the illusion or appearance of a normal overjet!. This can create a very natural appearance or can simply mask a larger skeletal problem, depending on the case!.
