Question: Twin block appliance help please!?
I was given this appliance in April 2007 and did not wear it a lot, as in school it would cause me to talk funny and was embarrassing!. My dentist had me wear it, but I am not sure how long does it take to hold teeth and jaws in the new positions!. I hear it corrects gaps and teeth not just jaws, please, I have started to wear them now, as my dentist is giving a refund, as he could not go through with braces!. I hear this will improve my teeth and jaws!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

they are painful at first to wear if your jaw is out of line!.they do make you speak funny at first but then you get used to it and your speach gets normal again!.my daughter wore one for 12 months cos her jaws were seriously out of line after an accident she went on to wear a brace after!.her teeth and jaw are now perfect!.try to stick to using it they are brilliant what they can do!.my daughter wont let anyone see the photos of her before the blocks n brace now cos she can see how bad she looked before getting helpWww@Answer-Health@Com
