Temporary crown fell off?!
Question: Temporary crown fell off!?
I got a temporary crown a week ago, but it fell out the day it was put in!. My appointment for the permanent isn't for another week!. Is this bad for the tooth!? Could this cause decay!? Also, is it worth it to go in and get another temporary for the meanwhile!? If it makes a difference, this is on one of the molars!.

you definately need to get it back on! you should make an appt asap!. your tooth may have already shifted by now and the crown may not fit correctly anymore!. if they put it on for you and it comes off again you can you fixadent or any other denture adhesive to hold it on for a few hrs!. remember to be gentle with it and not to floss around it!.

You must have the temp replaced it will only take a few minutes d is no charge!. It is important to keep the area covered so the new crown can fit correctly!. If you choose to do with your crown may not fit and the whole process will have to be redone, including fees!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Your dentist office should put the temp crown back on no charge!.
It might not come off if you don't drink sodas!. They eat the glue right off!.

Of course you need a new temp!.!.!.!.it will protect the prepped tooth, so the new permanent crown will fit correctly!

Better get in to see the dentist!.!. if it hasnt had a root canal then it may become real sensitive to hot or cold!. And the tooth could shift!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
