Question: How is Tertiary dentin form and what causes it to form!?
Answers:
It is also known as repairative dentine and is is basically how your teeth respond to infection (decay)!. It is created to increase the amount of space between the infection and the pulp of the tooth, which is full of nerves and blood supply!.
It is formed by odontoblasts (dentine producing cells) depositing dentine!.

It usually formed from an external stimulus such as caries!. Think of it as getting majorly burned and then your skin will grow back tough and distorted and not smooth and soft!. Thats what tertiary dentin is!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
