Question: I want to know why is my rootcanal still hurting!?
ok i got my root canal done about last feburary and when i tap my tooth it still hurts a little bit!.!.!.!.sometimes it hurts less sometimes more!.!.!.(only when i tap)!.!.!.the nerve is dead which means that i cant feel hot or cold but when i tap it does hurt a lil!.!.its my upper front tooth
i would rather a dentist to answer this!.!.!.!.!.

There might be some root left!. Although I would think it would be cleaned out when the pulp was taken out!. It is not uncommon for a potentially dead tooth to become infected if it hasn't been sealed right allowing for bacteria to still get in there and irritate it!. Ask your dentist!.
