Novocaine hasn't been used in years!. We typically use lidocaine now!. Most lidocaine used has epinephrine in it to make it last longer without using as much!. Epinephrine is the same as adrenaline!. It can cause your heart to beat fast and kinda "rev" you up!. Once that wears off, you can feel drowsy!. It's kind of like an adrenaline crash!. If you were also a little nervous about your appointment, that can also hype you up and after your appointment was over, that subsided as well!. A combination of the two can make you feel a little drowsy but shouldn't last long!. Just take it easy and yes, stay off the ladder!Www@Answer-Health@Com

well Novocaine is a long acting anesthetic ! So it might take long diminish its effect! Its advisable if you can avoid going to work or drive for few hours after its administration!Www@Answer-Health@Com
