Is your diet very acidic!? Brush straight away after eating sweets!. But after eating or drinking something acidic, like fruit or a fizzy drink, wait an hour, this will give your saliva time to neutralise your mouth!. If your brush straight away the acid can act like a paint stripper and strip the enamel off your teeth!.

Or you may just have soft enamel on your teeth, do they yellow quickly!?

Next time you are at the dentist just mention that you look after your teeth and don't understand why you have so many cavities!. He or she can tell you and give you some tips!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

celeste is right (as always)!. If its genetics, theres really not much you can do about it!. I'm very good with brushing and flossing my teeth also but I just about have a cavity every time I go for my 6 mos cleaning!.

Also something to consider, have you always gone to the dentist that you're presently seeing!?!? I'm just saying, your previous dentist could have missed a bunch of things and its starting to catch up to you now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would say get a second opinion!. I had this dentist that told me once I had 12 cavities, would have to get all drilled and filled in!. We thought it was weird because I don't eat a lot of sugary foods, and I brush after every meal, floss and everything they always tell you to do!.

I went to this other dentist and he said I didn't have any cavities, and three of what they told us were cavities were fillings I had from before!. That was about 4 years ago, and I haven't had anything done to the "cavities"!. If they really were, and as bad as the first dentist was telling me, half my teeth should be gone now!.

It could turn out that they really are cavities, but before getting more procedures done!.!.!.cause no one likes getting their teeth drilled!.!.!. I would ask another dentist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

in addition to what everyone else is saying!.!.!.how many times a day are you brushing your teeth!? believe it or not, you may be overbrushing your teeth!.!.!.this makes the protective enamel on your teeth wear down faster and can cause weak spots on your teeth that can turn into a great breeding spot for bacteria that cause cavities!. now i'm not saying to stop brushing!.!.!.you should brush no more and no less than 2-3 times a day for two minutes, use mouthwash, and floss everyday!. hope this helps :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Does anyone else in your family have lots of cavities or soft teeth!? Sometimes it's a hereditary thing that you can't help no matter what you do!.

I avoid the dentist as much as possible because he scares me!. I'm bucking for false teeth by the time I'm 55!.
