The pain in the upper jaw can be because of dry socket in the extracted lower tooth!. If the pain subsides after getting the pack in the dry socket then you can be sure that this is referred pain!.But if it does'nt subside then you should visit your dentist!. well dry socket pain is very annoying and yes often referred ! you seem to be experiencing referred pain most probably ! so get dressing done regularly until it subsides ! do warm salt gargles every three to four hours as it will help in healing faster ! avoid irritating the socket with brush or so ! Avoid hot and spicy food for few days! Do not suck on straw for few days! If you smoke than do not smoke until its cured!
Ibuprofen do result in secondary acidity in few indviduals!
Do take Tab Amoxicillin clavulanic acid combination 500mg tds thrice daily for seven days
Tab Diclofenac sodium and paracetamol combination bd twice for seven days! Www@Answer-Health@Com

Dry socket pain is common following surgical removal especially lower 3rd molars!. The cause is uncertain but sometimes smoking and the use of oral contraceptives increase the incidence!. Pain occurs 24-48 hours post extraction with noticeably odor and bad taste!. The possible treatment is for u to go back to ur dentist for irrigation and packing of dry socket foam and take cataflam 5o mg !.!.take 3 times daily for pain!.!.!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
