Question: HOLES IN ROOF OF MOUTH!?
My friend, her son and myself have small pinholes in the roof of our mouthes, in different locations we were having a conversation and figured out we all have the same problem!. WE ALL have never heard or know anyone with the same problem!. 1 of us when drinking it comes out of the nasal cavity, 1 its just air when breathing, 1 drains a clear fluid, HAS ANYONE heard of such or know what the problem could be!.

A few people have small paired pinholes in the palate on each side of the mid-line!. It probably is hereditary!. I forget if there is a name for the condition, and cannot easily find it online, but it is a variation of normal!.

I have no expertise in the Van der Woude syndrome, but I think that tiny holes in the palate may be a partial manifestation of the condition!. With this syndrome, lip pits and cleft palate are more common!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, this is somewhat normal!. In children, it may close over time!. You also can confuse large salivation glands which can appear on the palate and drain clear fluid!. However, they shouldn't move air through them!. You might want to have an ear, nose, and throat specialist look at it just to be sure it is ok and doesn't need some attention!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Those are perfectly normal anatomy!. Those "holes" connect to the sinus cavities!. When you have a cold where do you think it drains from and goes down your throat!? Those holes!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
