Question: I'm in NEED of dental work!.!.!.please advise!?
I'm a single mom, work a full time job, and going through a financial problem!. I was told by my dentist that do to bone lose I will loose my teeth unless I can afford to pay!. I don't have the money and work in a professional atmosphere where a smile means everything when meeting with clients!. I can't afford to walk around with a **ck smile!. Can anyone give me some advice as to how I can borrow or get financial assistance!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Your options include applying for financing that caters to health/dental costs!. Carecredit and citihealthcard!. They offer interest free options up to 18 months and pay the dentist in full, (but the dentist has to participate) then you pay the company back on a monthly basis!.

You could try a dental discount program, that comes with dental, vision, chiropractic and prescription discount plans!. If your Dr!. participates it could at least save you some money!.

Did the Dr!. give you different treatment options!? Is there something temporary that you can do until you can afford the large treatment plan!? I would ask about those things!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'd check around for a dental school where a student could do it cheap!. I'd be iffy with that though but I'm an anxious wreck haha!.

You might also check your local health department or some such for local programs!. I know my city has a few dentists here with a sliding scale based on household income!. This messes me up since I live with a mother that makes a LOT more than me, but it might work out in your favor!Www@Answer-Health@Com

there is a credit card you can get if your credit isnt bad!.!.!. its from care credit!.!. lots of dentists take it!.!. as well as vets offices!.

If your credit isnt so good!.!. maybe you can get a parent or other relative to co-sign the card application for you!.

unfortunatly today the medical field is all about making money!.!. and not really helping out people :(

I would consider researching the dental schools in your area!. Dont fret,The dental students will be slow, gentle and thorough about every thing they do!.!.!.a teacherm will always assist!. Their prices are always cheaper than a outside dental office!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
