Receding gum line from piercing?!

Question: Receding gum line from piercing!?
I had my anti-monroe pierced (like a labret on the side of my mouth!. instead of a regular lip piercing it's lower) but it kept rubbing against my gum on my one tooth and made the gum line recede!. I took it out yesterday after having it in since April!. Will my gum go back to normal now!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ouch!. Tough lesson to learn!.!.!.
Once your gums recede, there's not much you can do!. (This is why piercings like this ARE BAD! NO, NO!)
You'll want to talk to your dentist to see what to do now!. If its bad enough, you may need a graft (they'll take a small patch of tissue from your hard palate or another area of your mouth and attach that to bring your gumline back to where it should be)!. Or, he may just advise you to be careful with your brushing so you don't damage the gums worse!.
And, whatever you do, leave the piercing out!. And don't do anymore!. They're not worth it!.!.!. any kind of piercing in the mouth can cause problems with your tissue and/or your teeth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
