Question: Help!! Greyish/Blackish Stripes on my teeth!.!?
Yesterday i looked in the mirror and saw that on my teeth there were grey stripes and lines please help me!. i don'tt know if i have a gum decise or is it just natural (by the way im a teenager if age makes a difference)Www@Answer-Health@Com

If the marks are on your teeth I think you could rule out 'gum' disease!. If they will not brush off, then I would guess you have either been chewing on pencil erasers (the metal portion) or you have been opening bottles with your teeth!. Since you are a teenager you probably do not have tetracycline stains and I guess the possibility exist that it could be just natural!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Hello!.!.!.It would be most interesting to know how long those stripes have actually been there and exactly how old you are!.!.!.Dentistry has known for a very long time that when a lady is pregnant and during the early trimesters she takes antibiotics that are in the group of "Myicins"!.!.!.it's very possible the child will develop teeth that are in fact stripped in appearance!. In some cases we have found that both the baby and adult teeth erupt and have no enamel on them!.!.!.!.See your DDS and he or she should be able to tell you if the stripes are due to the explanation I gave you or a more current issue!.!.!.In any event if the stripes are permanent you can talk to the DDS about creating "Veneers" that can be placed over your teeth and give you what is popularly called a Hollywood smile!. that happens sometimes!. brush really hard it should come off!. if not go to your dentist and tell him about it!. you wont get no woman with teeth like that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
