About to have braces taken off, why do I still have a gap?!

Question: About to have braces taken off, why do I still have a gap!?
I have had braces for 2 and a half years!. I was suppose to have them off after 2 years but they kept extending my time!. I end up asking them when they will be taken off since they never give me any information!. They make a date 2 months later to have them removed!. About 2 weeks from now is my appointment to have them taken off!. Tonight I washed my mouth out before going to sleep and noticed I still have a gap between two of my teeth!. the bottom fang on the right and the one next to it that goes farther back into my mouth!.the other side isn't like that!. Im confused if this is suppose to be like this!? i mean if this isnt right they have completely screwed up and it would probably be at least another year to have this all fixed!. Anyone know anything about it!? I feel cheated!. This company really sucks(Smile Care)!. They never bothered to check that my bite made my top teeth hit the bottom braces so i end up chipping my 2 front teeth!. i had to point it out after the fact then they tell me about the cement that stops this, and every time i needed more i had to ask to get more they never gave a crap!. So i would not be suprised if they screwed me on this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had braces for 2 and a half years too but my teeth were totally different!.
The reason for this gapping could be the way your teeth are!. Braces don't straighten everything it does certain things!. When you get your braces taken off there is a possibility they could give you a retainer just to sustain the position!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

You might need to get your frenum detached ( it's this little piece of gum that starts inside your upper lip to the gums above your teeth!.) My sister had to get it cut out and stitched up in order to get her braces off!. They told her it would create a gap in her teeth if she didn't so that could be it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

well you will probably get retainer and it will close the gap up!. not all braces help fix gaps!. Depends on your teeth!. even though it is supposed to!. They should have tighted it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

dont worry, they will give you a retainer that will pull them together the rest of the way!. you'll be fine!.!Www@Answer-Health@Com
