Answers:
These are called elastics (or as they slang them at the office "triangles") It helps your jaw move the right way so your teeth are straighter!. It speeds up the process a bundle!. They are practical totally practical!. Don't make the mistake of just not wearing them!. That would be very bad, you'd have to have braces a long time!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

They use the bands so they can correct the bite of your mouth because as you know braces are only there to correct the position of the teeth, so when you change the positioning of the teeth you need to correct the bite which is what the bands doWww@Answer-Health@Com

I had these when I was younger too, in exactly the same place!. I think it' to pull your back teeth forward to close a gap in your teeth!. Mine snapped out and flew in somebody's face one time so be careful! It will be worth it in the end though when you have beautiful straight teeth!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have them, from front canines to back molars!.!.!. i think they're for pulling your front teeth back a bit to make sure they don't stick out- at least that's what mine are for!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you have an overbite!. so what they are doing is pulling your jaw back to you wont have an overbite anymore!. so your top 2 teeth sit directly infront of your bottom 2 teeth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

FYI,
these are important in order to accomplish what the doctor wants!.
Not wearing them will take much longer or not at all,
So are they important!?
DEFINITELY!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The smart thing would have been to ask the dentist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

NO NO NO!
it is to make the process faster!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
