Yea i do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm a dentist and I DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THE MERCURY!. I prefer silver fillings in my own mouth!. Many people are misled with the facts about silver amalgam fillings!. Dental amalgam is a stable alloy made by combining elemental mercury, silver, tin, copper and possibly other metallic elements!. Although dental amalgam continues to be a safe, commonly used restorative material, some concern has been raised because of its mercury content!. However, the mercury in amalgam combines with other metals to render it stable and safe for use in filling teeth!. In fact, the level of mercury you ingest from fish is much more than what you can get from a filling!. The time at which you are exposed to the most mercury from fillings is during removal of an old restoration!. Aside from the poor esthetics, a great advantage of silver fillings is durability!. A silver filling will last much longer than some composite (tooth colored) fillings!. Also, since silver amalgam has been around for over a century, much more research is available to show that it is safe!. Who knows how safe white fillings are!?!?

People need to be smart about what they read online!. Check your references and make sure the websites are legitimate!. Don't believe EVERYTHING you read!. Research!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. The mercury in amalgam fillings is largely bound up as an inorganic compound with the other metals (silver, tin) to form an insoluble intermetallic compound!. Any wear of the amalgam is easily excreted, and does not build up in your body!.
The dangerous mercury compounds are the organic type, e!.g!. methyl mercury, as is commonly found in fish!.
Inorganic=not compounded with carbon
Organic=compounded with carbonWww@Answer-Health@Com

If mercury in dental alloys was as toxic as we are led to believe, wouldn't dentist as a population have a higher mortality rate than the rest of society!? They are exposed to it in all forms, such as placement and removal!. This has not proven to be the case and the hysteria that the media has created has cost the general public millions, as the alternatives to amalgams are generally more expensive and do not last as long!. Hope this has stimulated some food for thought!. Good LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com

I would have the mercury removed and have amalgam used to fill instead!. Mercury is toxic!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
