My dentist filed down my teeth...?!

Question: My dentist filed down my teeth!.!.!.!?
About 3 or 4 weeks ago my dentist filed down my bottom 2 front teeth, which were ridgy and bumpy!.

Now theyre REALLY sensitive!. I mean REALLYYY sensitive! I looked in the mirrir, and by the looks of it, he's filed them down a little too low, and I can see a little little bit of white on thepart that he filed!.

I cant touch the area that got filed or I get chills, and I cant breathe in through my mouth where the air can get past my tooth, or it feels horrible!.

If I was to get this fixed, what would he do!? Im thinknig he;d seal it with some filling substance, but how much will that cost!? Do I have to pay if he was the one that screwed it up in the first place!?

It cant possibly be my fault - I have an overbite, so my teeth dont even grind down on my bottom teeth anyays :S

Thanks!

It is possible that he filed them down too far!. Usually filling it in with material will not help!. Try getting a high fluoride content toothpaste or have him call you some in to pharmacy!. The nerves have to shrink away from the dentin to help the sensitivity!. Call him on monday and I am sure he will be happy to make things right if he is a good dentist otherwise it is time to seek a new one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

some times when the dentine is exposed the teeth become really sensitve To fix this problem the dentine can be sealed by using tooth colored filling material that is composite!. for more information you can visit www!.identalhub!.com they have good article on tooth senstivity!. they even have the facility for free consultation where all your queries are answered by a dentist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

that's what you call post operative sensitivity!. That discomfort would vanish after a week!. meanwhile, use sensodyne toothpaste to alleviate the pain and sensitivity!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

To alleviate the pain immediately (but temporarily), buy some over the counter anbesol and apply it directly to the sensitive teeth!. First off, I would not recommend getting dental procedures done without knowing why its being done!. If the dentist doesn't want to tell you why he's doing something, I would recommend going to another dentist because he may be doing unnecessary work on you to empty your pockets, or he/she may just be a bad dentist!. Good luck!. There is also take home toothpaste, which contains a desensitizing agent called Fluoridex, but has to be purchased through your dentist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
