Getting your braces off early?!

Question: Getting your braces off early!?
I was told that I will need my braces for three years ( :S ) Probably cause they had to pull out four of my teeth and those spaces have to fill in, but if I was to do all the things they ask me to (i!.e elastics, cleaning them and not eating the foods that are bad for the braces) could I possible get them off in less then 3 years!?

My daughter has had braces for over a year now and the dentist is straightening them faster because we go every 3 weeks and not every month so this makes it quicker!. she had 2 teeth out and it was to take 2 years but now it will be done in a year and a half!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It may not decrease by too much (like take a year off) but it does help speed up the process when the patient does everything in their power to help out!. Your teeth will move faster if they are clean and gums are healthy but wearing elastics is a big part too!. You need to make sure that u wear them as much as the orthodontist says and don't skip any days!. And making it to every appointment helps alot to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes! def!. my best friend did everything the way she was supposed to and she got them off half a year earlier!. But on the other hand, I didn't use the elastics and head gear too often cause it was a pain in my butt and had to get them off a few months later!.

wear your retainer afterwards or you'll regret doing all that hard work with you braces!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes it is possible!. They told my daughter 2 years however her teeth have improved so quickly that they are talking about removing them in a couple of months!. It's only been a year!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well ive had my braces 4 almost three years now and they have changed the time to four yrs so good luck keep doing wat ur supposed to doWww@Answer-Health@Com
