I'm 26 and my wisdom teeth still haven't come in, is this normal?!


Question: I'm 26 and my wisdom teeth still haven't come in, is this normal!?
Also, should I see about getting them extracted even though they haven't surfaced!? I'd really like to get braces to fix a slight overbite and don't see a point in getting them while I still have my wisdom!. What do you think!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not everyone's wisdom teeth come in!. Yours may never do so!. If you want to get braces, you should discuss with your doctor whether to get the wisdom teeth removed before getting braces!.

I had braces, and my wisdom teeth started coming in after!. They removed all four with no effect on the rest of my teeth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I am 18, & two years ago I was told by my dentist that I was one of the rare few that will never grow wisdom teeth!. Not everybody gets wisdom teeth!. I'll never have them!. Don't worry, you're human!Www@Answer-Health@Com
